- No special tools, crimping, glue or soldering is needed
- Can be installed in wet lines
- Large diameter fittings (1-1/4 to 2 in) require a stiffener (sold separately) when connecting to PEX pipe
- Remove using a disconnect clip or disconnect tongs (both sold separately)
- For PEX applications, stiffeners are sold separately
Used to transition between PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT or HDPE pipe to an FNPT threaded connection.
