Lochinvar's LTCPA series are ASME fixed diaphragm, pre-charged thermal expansion tanks. Designed for hydronic heating systems or potable hot water systems, the tank uses compressed air to maintain system pressures by accepting and expelling the changing volume of water as it heats and cools. These tanks employ a fixed diaphragm, flexing butyl barrier that separates the stored water from the pressure control air cushion. The thermal expansion tanks are engineered to meet ASME standards.
