- The FT2000UNIV kit offers a complete, all-in-one solution with machine, adapters, and cutters for 2 for flare, compression and NPT service taps
- 09165 kit drills cast/ductile iron while PE/PVC can be tapped by adding the correct PVC/PE Shell Cutters
- Compact design, featuring a separate, independent feed control for advancing the heavy-duty shell cutter into the pipe, allows the user to easily complete the tap using a drill
- To saddle tap cast/ductile iron pipe, use drill power
- According to Uni-Bell PVC Pipe Association recommendations, PVC and other plastic pipe must be tapped manually
- Add on REED's 40232 and 48206 as the ratchet wrench and socket to fit the Feed Tap machine
The FT2000UNIV kit delivers a complete, all-in-one solution for drill-powered tapping, including the machine, corporation adapters, and cutters for ¾”–2” flare, compression, and NPT service taps. It also includes the CRPD25 coupon-retaining drill bit and magnets for a ready-to-go system.
