The series 717R and series 717HR FireLock® high pressure check valves are CAD-designed for hydrodynamic efficiency and available in 2 to 3 in/50 to 80 mm (series 717HR) and 4 to 8 in/100 to 200mm (series 717R) sizes. In the series 717HR high pressure check valve, the stainless steel disc is seated against the O-ring seal which is installed in the electroless nickel-plated end face the series 717R check valve features an elastomer encapsulated disc and a welded in nickel seat for superior corrosion resistance. Both valves feature a spring assisted, single disc design which provides a leak-free seal with as little as 5 ft/1.5 m of head. Either valve can be installed in horizontal or vertical positions. In both valve designs, the single disc mechanism incorporates a spring assisted feature for non-slamming operation. Each valve is factory tested to the rated working pressure. For systems not requiring a riser check option refer to publication 10.08. Both valve designs include upstream and downstream pressure taps.
