Kwik-Change™ 3-Stage Ultra Filtration System

This three stage Kwik-Change ultra filtration hollow fiber membrane system is equipped with a unique swivel-valve, push-button assembly that allows for easy initial installation change as well as simple and sanitary one-step filter changes that do not require shuting off the water source. Stage 1 is a five micron sediment filter that reduces sand, silt, sediment and rust particles that may be in the water. Stage 2 is a five micron carbon block filter that provides a reduction of chlorine, chloramines and other materials that cause bad taste and odors. Stage 3 is a state of the art UF hollow fiber technology membrane. The hollow fiber technology uses ultra filtration, a membrane filtration process which uses standard home water pressure to push water through its semi permeable membrane. The suspended particles and materials of high molecular weight are unable to pass through the .2 micron UF membrane, leaving you with only fresh clean water and dissolved minerals to pass through.
