SharkBite Max 1-IN Push-to-Connect Coupling is part of the next generation of SharkBite push-to-connect fittings, the fastest way to connect PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT or HDPE pipe compared with traditional plumbing methods. A newly designed stainless steel collet retainer adds strength and durability while a re-engineered body lets you insert the pipe with less force. SharkBite Max fittings do not require a PEX tube liner, and the coupling installs without solder, clamps, unions, glue or special tools. Simply push the pipe into the fitting to create a reliable, watertight seal that can be rotated or removed with a disconnect tool.
