Ames Deringer™ 20 and 20G double check valve assemblies are designed to prevent non-health hazard pollutant from entering the potable water supply system caused by backpressure and/or backsiphonage condition. Deringer™ 20 feature integral Eccentric-seal™ butterfly shut-off valve for a short lay length and Dual-action™ check for high performance at low and high flow rate. Deringer™ 20G also feature Dual-action™ check, but with OS and Y shut-off valve. Either may be installed under continuous pressure service to protect against both backpressure and backsiphonage. Maximum working pressure is 175 psi.
